The Society of the Young Sachems

Emblem

The Society of Young Sachems has been set in place in memory of Ernest “Lone Eagle” Hawk, who spent his life in furtherance of the precepts espoused by The Lone Scouts of America, which was done in the tradition of the Societies of Chief Tammany, Lenni Lenape Grand Sachem.

The goals of this Society include guiding young boys in learning the arts of survival, woodmanship, etc., using key Algonquian Sachems whose status is exemplary.

ACQTC will provide culture-bearers to meet with scout troops, schools, hiking clubs, etc. and to guide youngsters on the path to manhood.
